New data highlight that bicyclists in the United States save at least $4.6 billion a year by riding instead of driving…
The average annual operating cost of a bicycle is $308, compared to $8,220 for the average car, and if American drivers replaced just one four-mile car trip with a bike each week for the entire year, it would save more than two billion gallons of gas, for a total savings of $7.3 billion a year, based on $4 a gallon for gas.

Members of the Class of 2012,
As a former secretary of labor and current professor, I feel I owe it to you to tell you the truth about the pieces of parchment you’re picking up today.
You’re f*cked.
Well, not exactly. But you won’t have it easy.
First, you’re going to have a hell of a hard…
Eloquently stated…frightening…but well said sir! Hope the US can turn the ship around soon. At 2%GDP we’ve long become a consumption driven country and not a production driven one. Interesting turn of events I’d say.

I keep trying to move away from Jameson as one of my all time favorite adult beverages. However I find myself gravitating towards it more and more. Granted its not a “boutique” or expensive whiskey…but it is always consistent and in almost every bar. Simple, neat, clean and always good. Thank you John for bringing your enjoyable beverage the US!
Real-life transforming robot car puts Hasbro toys to shame
For once, we’re using the word “Transformer” to mean exactly what you’d expect: not a tablet, toy, lawsuit, video game, or movie. No, this is a small car that automatically turns into a genuine working robot, does so with speed and grace you’ve only dreamed of before, and then proceeds to punch and uppercut its way through any would-be Decepticons.
Autobots…let’s roll out!
